DA Type Marine fender for Limassol port - Cyprus expansion project bidding

OKIN participated in this spring for the Cyprus national government port expansion of bids.

OKIN designed and supplied   DA type Rubber Fender  Systems for Limassol Port in Cyprus.

The first 50 pcs DA Fenders with UHMW/PE yellow facing pad have been already delivered from our factory.

They will be installed on Limassol coast to after arrival.

Limassol is the second largest city in Cyprus.

Located in the innermost part of Limaso Bay on the southern shore of the island of Cyprus. In the past 20 years, Limassol has developed rapidly. More than half of the island's exports and 90% of its imports pass through here. It has replaced Famagusta as the island's main import and export trade center and seaport, becoming the maritime gateway to Cyprus.

We usually do the full set of inspections before shipment.

DA Fender

OKIN manufactures two types Arch Fenders, KDA-A and KDA-B. The KDA-A fender has a rubber contact face ideal for all general purpose applications. The higher friction of the rubber surface can be used to good effect to dampen the movements between vessel and wharf in sea swells and similar conditions.
